How does Verre Industrie ensure the quality of your glass?

At every stage of the manufacturing process, we use the appropriate controls:

– for dimensions: profile projector, calipers, micrometers, etc.

– for chemical and thermal tempering: strain rate measurement equipment

– for screen printing: opacity measurement using a densitometer

– for final inspection, in a dedicated area: inspection bench, digital microscope and precision magnifier.

At the end of the manufacturing process, we can measure on request :

– the mechanical strength, using ball impact test equipment

– the performance of a heating function

– the optical performance using a spectrophotometer.

Borofloat®, the reference for borosilicate glass

Borofloat® has a low coefficient of expansion.

It shows excellent thermal (up to 500°), mechanical and chemical attack resistance.

With very high transmission in the visible spectrum (T>90%), Borofloat® also has a very high level of transparency and remains practically colorless.

Verre Industrie does process Borofloat® in all its shapes and in all common thicknesses.
