New bending furnace for Verre Industrie

Increased bending requirements have led us to invest in new equipment identical to that acquired 2 years ago. This investment will enable us to respond to the increasing production rates of the aerospace and rail industries. More capacity to serve you better!   https://verreindustrie.fr

How to improve the sunlight readability of a display?

Verre Industrie offers different solutions depending on your mechanical and optical requirements. Optical Bonding consists in injecting on an optical resin that fills the air gap between the screen and the protective glass and thus avoids refraction of light. For solutions where the glass is not in contact with the screen, Verre Industrie offers solutions with anti-reflective and anti-infrared filters. …

One of the most important aspects of 3D printing is the substrate, also known as the print bed.

This must be flat, smooth and rigid to properly support the object being printed. Material choices for the 3D printer bed are diverse, including aluminum and plastic, however, borosilicate glass is often preferred for its optimal performance. Designed specifically for high-temperature environments and resistant to chemicals, it offers both versatility and durability.   https://verreindustrie.fr

How does Verre Industrie ensure the quality of your glass?

At every stage of the manufacturing process, we use the appropriate controls: – for dimensions: profile projector, calipers, micrometers, etc. – for chemical and thermal tempering: strain rate measurement equipment – for screen printing: opacity measurement using a densitometer – for final inspection, in a dedicated area: inspection bench, digital microscope and precision magnifier.   At the end of the …

Verre Industrie and MCM: a perfect fit

Verre Industrie offers a complete range of glass products featuring optical coatings. We produce the basic substrate in-house, in the shapes and thicknesses required. Our MCM subsidiary deposits coatings on request: – anti-reflective – hydrophobic – dichroic – mirror and semi-reflective – anti-infrared   Entrust us with your projects   https://verreindustrie.fr

Existing or new molded glass: Verre Industrie solutions

If your moulder is no longer available and you still have moulding tools, we can reuse them by adapting them to our partners’ equipment. This avoids costly remanufacturing and long lead times. For your new developments, we are at your disposal to study their feasibility. We carry out in-house finishing and thermal or chemical tempering.   https://verreindustrie.fr

Portrait of the month

Gaby, in charge of MCM’s beaconing activity. Coming from Saint Gobain SOVIS and then Corning, Gaby is an expert in her field. A veritable “encyclopedia” of beaconing, her knowledge of customers and products enables us to integrate this new activity perfectly within MCM. https://verreindustrie.fr

Borofloat®, the reference for borosilicate glass

Borofloat® has a low coefficient of expansion. It shows excellent thermal (up to 500°), mechanical and chemical attack resistance. With very high transmission in the visible spectrum (T>90%), Borofloat® also has a very high level of transparency and remains practically colorless. Verre Industrie does process Borofloat® in all its shapes and in all common thicknesses.   https://verreindustrie.fr
