Increased machining capacity

Verre Industrie starts up a new machining center for small parts to complement the two machines that arrived in February 2024.

With a 30% increase in machining capacity this year, we are responding positively to growing customer demand.

With a precision superior to that of the mirror machines, it will enable us to cover a wider range of needs.

Deployment of new RER E suburban trains in Paris area, Verre Industrie on board

In these new trains, the passenger information and video surveillance systems are protected by high-strength “Verre Industrie” glass.

In the driver’s area, on-board instrument screens are protected by our LSVID anti-glare glass, whose optical qualities have made it a standard in the rail industry.

The “Fred & Fred” moulded lens, a success story

This uniquely designed lens, for which Verre Industrie acquired the patent in 2018, has been used in numerous lighting projects.

Once again, it was used as part of the development of the square in front of the Town Hall of La Grande Motte (South of France).

We can adapt its shape to your lighting for unique effects.

Hydrophobic, oleophobic / anti-fingerprint coating: MCM’s solutions

Water run-off on the glass of your outdoor equipment disrupts its operation.

The hydrophobic coating responds to this constraint and improves the efficiency of cameras, screens etc…

For touch screens, oleophobic coating limits fingerprints, reduces cleaning frequency and improves hygiene.

Verre Industrie offers these coating in addition to our glass production via our subsidiary MCM on :

– anti-reflective glass (VIC type)

– anti-glare glass (LSVID type)

– thin glass (float & Gorilla Glass)

How to improve the sunlight readability of a display?

Verre Industrie offers different solutions depending on your mechanical and optical requirements.

Optical Bonding consists in injecting on an optical resin that fills the air gap between the screen and the protective glass and thus avoids refraction of light.

For solutions where the glass is not in contact with the screen, Verre Industrie offers solutions with anti-reflective and anti-infrared filters.

One of the most important aspects of 3D printing is the substrate, also known as the print bed.

This must be flat, smooth and rigid to properly support the object being printed.

Material choices for the 3D printer bed are diverse, including aluminum and plastic, however, borosilicate glass is often preferred for its optimal performance.

Designed specifically for high-temperature environments and resistant to chemicals, it offers both versatility and durability.
