New vertical tempering furnace at Verre Industrie

We have recently acquired a vertical tempering furnace for the thermal tempering of moulded glass.

This installation complements our equipment for thermal tempering of flat glass and chemical strengthening of thin glass.

We offer custom tempering of your free issues lenses and moulded glass or complete supply.

Laminated glass: the safety advantage

The need for laminated and laminated safety glass is increasing. 

We have extended our production capacity to 3 laminating cells with following capability :

– minimum thickness: 1+1 mm

– size of pieces: from a few mm to aprox 2500 X 1250 mm

– PVB and EVA interlayer

– laminated , hardened laminated safety (thermally toughened and chemically strengthened).

Review of the INTER AIRPORT show

The show is ending today.

It gave MCM the opportunity to meet many players in the airport lighting sector and to communicate about this new activity.

The results for Verre Industrie were also positive, with many new contacts.

MCM, a company in the VERRE INDUSTRIE group, acquired the airport lighting glass business from CORNING SAS on October 2nd 2023

On October 2nd, 2023, MCM, a subsidiary of Verre industrie, has acquired the beaconing activity of CORNING SAS.

The manufacturing and surface coating of glass moulded parts (prisms and lenses) had been taken over by CORNING in 2022. In the coming weeks, the needed equipment will be transferred to the MCM site, a few kilometres away from Jouarre, in a refurbished building.

Verre Industrie is specialised in glass for aircraft interior and exterior lighting, also in airfield lighting sector with other product categories. Thanks to its subsidiary MCM, Verre Industrie is widening its product offer in the aeronautic lighting market.

Installation of the first 8 Mat Perle luminaires

The first 8 renovated Mats Perle were installed on Place de Varsovie in Paris at the end of September 2023.

Verre Industrie cleaned, chemically strengthened and assembled these timelessly designed lenses.

A special project that demonstrates the variety of the company’s know-how.

Go the XV of France

For the Rugby World Cup which is taking place in France this year, the French national team’s training center has been equipped with three large TFT screens to perfect the preparation of our players.
