Verre Industrie is very proud to have been part of this great project.
It involved the production of thousands of glasses over 14 years for the train’s avant-garde interior.

The inner courtyard and access are illuminated with projectors equipped with Fred & Fred lenses manufactured by Verre Industrie.
The 16 projectors create a soft and welcoming atmosphere in harmony with the modern spirit of the hotel.
Precision glass processing
As mechanical assemblies are becoming more and more precise, the tolerances required for the glasses mean that the parts must be processed on a CNC machining center.
Verre Industrie is able to meet tolerances from +/- 0.05mm.
Our machine park allows the machining of very small parts (from 5x5mm) up to around 2500x1500mm from 0.5mm thickness with all types of profiles and shapes.

Gorilla® Glass: an example of a new project
This glass was recently selected by a Verre Industrie customer for a wall-mounted touch control panel.
Given the specifications and the constraints of use, the very high impact resistance of this ultra-thin glass made the difference.

First success for Verre Industrie

Borofloat®, the reference for borosilicate glass
Borofloat® has a low coefficient of expansion.
It shows excellent thermal (up to 500°), mechanical and chemical attack resistance.
With very high transmission in the visible spectrum (T>90%), Borofloat® also has a very high level of transparency and remains practically colorless.
Verre Industrie does process Borofloat® in all its shapes and in all common thicknesses.
