The moulded lens that changes lighting

Fred & Fred’s unique design, patented by Verre Industrie, has been used in numerous lighting projects.

It was once again used to light a bicycle tunnel near Lyon Part Dieu railway station.

This molded glass lens creates a unique lighting ambience, both soft and enveloping.

An ambitious quality goal for 2025

With a non-compliance rate of 14,000 PPM, we close the year with satisfaction.

The implementation of new quality procedures over the last two years and the efforts made by all staff show the sustainability of quality performance.

For 2025 and as part of our continuous improvement approach, Verre Industrie has set a target of 10,000 PPM.

Thank you all for your commitment.

Why is glass so used in aeronautics?

Glass is a preferred material in aeronautics due to its many qualities. It offers exceptional resistance to abrasion, pressure and temperature variations, while remaining stable and unalterable over time, unlike plastic. Its transparency ensures optimal visibility, essential in cockpits and for avionics equipment. Additionally, glass is an eco-friendly and 100% recyclable material, making it a sustainable choice. Thin chemically reinforced glass combines lightness and strength, offering mechanical properties close to those of plastic, while maintaining the reliability of traditional glass.

Verre Industrie manufactures for aeronautics:

Inside the aircraft:

– windshield components

– glasses for avionics equipment

– glasses for backlit buttons

– glasses for reading light

– glasses for interior window

– substrates for mirrors

– glass for partition walls

– glasses for lighting systems

Outside the aircraft:

– lighting and signaling glasses

– sight glasses and level glasses for hydraulic and fuel circuits

Innovation and sustainability: Gorilla® Glass 3 at the service of your projects

At a time when innovation rhymes with sustainability, Gorilla® Glass 3 is positioned as a key material for responsible and efficient projects. Its exceptional thinness (from 0.5 mm) and robustness make it an ideal alternative to plastic to protect your interfaces: screens, sensors, cameras or solar modules. By reducing the frequency of replacements and increasing the durability of equipment, this glass contributes to a reduced ecological footprint while guaranteeing exceptional technical performance.

At Verre Industrie, we use this innovation as a lever for tailor-made solutions, adapted to the needs of the most demanding sectors, such as aeronautics, automotives or electronics.

In our factory in France, we ensure its complete processing (cutting, machining, bending, chemical strengthening, screen printing, lamination, etc.).

Opt for sustainable and eco-responsible protection, and choose a partner committed to your innovations!
