Gorilla® Glass 3: Glass that meets the needs of demanding environments

Sectors such as robot and drone surveillance or agriculture require glass that is impact- and scratch-resistant while remaining extremely lightweight.

We recommend Gorilla® Glass 3, which is currently the highest-performing product on the market for these applications.

Verre Industrie is the only French company authorized by Corning to process Gorilla® Glass 3: cutting, machining, chemical strengthening, screen printing, bending, lamination, and coating.

Let’s talk about your new projects.

How to control a glass ?

On many industrial products, glass is often the first visible component and a defect immediately alters its overall image.

It is important that the conditions and criteria for controlling a glass are precisely and objectively defined, as the requirements may vary depending on its use, size or marketing positioning.

In addition to dimensional checks and quality control of tempering, Verre industrie has defined procedures how to check cosmetic aspect of glasses.

At Verre Industrie, internal mobility opens up new perspectives

Internal mobility is at the heart of Verre Industrie’s HR policy, which encourages its employees to develop according to their desires and the company’s needs.

A concrete example: Christopher, who joined at the end of 2023 as operator of the vertical tempering furnace, expressed interest in the quality department where a position was vacant.

He was recently able to join the quality department, where he is currently being trained by Erwan Bernard, its manager.

Welcome to Christopher in his new position.
