Two careers, one passion: thank you Claire and Sylviane

This month, Verre Industrie bids farewell to two iconic employees as they retire.

Claire, who has been with the company for over 38 years, has left her mark on the business with her unfailing commitment and team spirit. From cutter to CNC operator, then team leader, she has put her experience to good use for everyone. With her genuine leadership charisma, she has inspired her team, generously shared her knowledge and always maintained a deep sense of humanity.

Sylviane, our back office ‘Swiss Army knife’ for 18 years, has contributed calmly and kindly to the smooth running of many departments: sales administration, sales, reception, procurement and methods.

With great flexibility and unfailing commitment, she has adapted to the many changes within the company. Her reassuring presence has accompanied colleagues and customers through every stage, always with the right words and a big smile.

Thank you both for these years of sharing and trust. You leave behind a shining mark in the history of Verre Industrie!

Industrial relocation: let’s build tomorrow’s production together

Industrial relocation is no longer just a trend: it is now a strategic lever for strengthening economic sovereignty, reducing the carbon footprint of supply chains and dependence on geostrategic risks.

Companies that are reinvesting in local manufacturing are redefining their industrial partnerships.

If you want to secure your supply of glass parts, our team will support you every step of the way to ensure a smooth, sustainable and competitive transition.

Camera Protection Glass: the most comprehensive offering on the market

Surveillance and control systems address a variety of increasingly complex challenges.

Sometimes visible, sometimes more discreet, this equipment requires suitable protective glass that combines optical, mechanical, and even thermal performance.

With a complete range of suitable glass, Verre Industrie meets your needs in the fields of transportation, process control, access control, surveillance, civil and military security.

Verre Industrie manages the entire glass manufacturing process.

MCM, its subsidiary, intervenes as needed to perform optical and hydrophobic treatments.

Verre Industrie and MCM: a turnkey solution, from raw glass to final treatment.

Glass subjected to harsh conditions: opt for chemical strengthening

Some glass parts require particular resistance to scratches or friction (optical inspection machines for metal parts, profile projectors, glass for contactless validators in transport, scanner glass, etc.).

Chemical tempering offers superior surface reinforcement to thermal tempering on float glass of all thicknesses, significantly reducing the frequency of replacement.

Passenger information system: better protected and more readable screens

In stations, airports, shopping malls and public buildings, passengers expect clear, readable and immediate information.

Verre Industrie supports manufacturers of passenger information screens and terminals with standard or customised glasses designed to combine readability and robustness: optical quality, reduced glare, easy touch use, protection against impact, vandalism and sunlight.

Our glass range including clear and extra-clear, anti-reflective, anti-glare, conductive or thin Gorilla glass can be tempered (resistance up to IK10 depending on thickness), laminated (anti-UV, anti-IR) and customised: machining of shapes, screen printing or bending.

These solutions can be integrated into a wide range of applications: passenger information screens in stations or at bus stops, PRM/PHMR reception terminals, information terminals or even short story distribution terminals, wherever user experience and equipment durability are essential.

How can you improve the protection and durability of your glass surfaces?

Gorilla® Glass offers exceptional mechanical performance, combining scratch resistance, robustness, and longevity that surpass those of plastic materials.

This technical glass integrates perfectly into numerous industrial applications: electronic equipment, machine enclosures, inspection windows, measuring devices, safety glazing, and display surfaces. It is possible to add a thin sheet of Gorilla® Glass, as thin as 0.7 mm, to your existing components without significant modification.

This solution improves protection while maintaining the performance and precision of your equipment.
