The “Pearls” of the Olympic Games

For the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, a first phase of the Eiffel Tower lighting project was carried out with the development of the surroundings of the “Fontaine de Varsovie”.

This project, which must be finalized by 2030, highlights the installation of new street lamps equipped with prismatic glass spheres, called “Perles”, along the main axis between the Trocadéro and the École Militaire.

The objective is to unify the site, to reinforce its central axis and its symmetry, and to offer visitors a harmonious nighttime journey.

Verre Industrie is proud to be in charge of renovation of the moulded glass sphere, emblematic of this project.
