Technical glasses for aeronautics

Turbines and on-board equipment containing fluids require small windows and gauges that are resistant to chemical agents, scratches, pressure and temperature.

Verre Industrie produces many variants in borofloat or silica machined with great precision.

Chemical strengthening: new possibilities

Chemical strengthening doesn’t just apply to flat glass: Verre Industrie routinely strengthens curved glass from 0.5 mm thickness upwards.

More recently, we have also been tempering soda-lime glass moldings and tubes for mechanical strengthening that would otherwise be impossible to achieve.

We look forward to hearing from you!

MCM and Verre Industrie, why are we complementary?

Some examples of projects we have completed together:

– Tempered glass with semi-reflective coating for on-board railway surveillance camera.

– Tempered anti-reflective glass with hydrophobic coating for automotive rear-view systems.

– Visor glass with anti-IR treatment for fireman’s mask.

– Tempered glass with anti-reflective and anti-fingerprint coating for avionics screens.

All these achievements were made possible thanks to the synergy of our two companies.

Our joint efforts at the service of your projects.
